I don't know if many of you know that I have a Facebook page called Parents of Law Officers. As a pastor, as a police chaplain and as the father of a law officer I did the hardest thing possible this morning. The mother of a murdered officer (just this week) posted to our page. She stated that she had posted to our page many times about her love and her fears of her son being a police officer. She stated this morning that her fear had become reality. Lord I pray that my few words of response brought even the smallest amount of comfort. My friends, love your police, love their families and love everyone in the name of Christ Jesus. Tim.
