A Cool Astrological Phenomenon or Christ's Return?

• Revelation 6:12-14 ESV. He opened the sixth seal, I looked, and behold, there was a great earthquake, and the sun became black as sackcloth, the full moon became like blood, and the stars of the sky fell to the earth as the fig tree sheds its winter fruit when shaken by a gale. The sky vanished like a scroll that is being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.
• Joel 2:31 ESV. The sun shall be turned to darkness, and the moon to blood, before the great and awesome day of the Lord comes.
• Matthew 24:29 ESV. “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

Tonight is the night of the 4^th Blood Moon between April 2014 and September 28, 2015. Some say that these blood moons throughout history have been around the times of significant event in and around Israel. Some theologians have stated that tonight’s blood moon could be the sign of Christ’s return and the end of the earth as we know it.

My blog does not try to dispute these theologians and their prophecies, what this blog hopefully communicates that we as flowers of Christ need not worry about it. 

God’s Holy Word does not tell us the time and the day of these events, but communicates the fact that we must be ready, and we must make others ready.

Whether the end times come with the blood moons or whether they come an instant or a year from now, I am ready and I celebrate God’s plan for His people and His world that will be brought forth by the second coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

So my prayer and hope for you today is that whether we wake up with Jesus in the morning or not, go forth proclaiming the name of Jesus Christ and that He is coming, when God says. 

Go out and enjoy life by proclaiming to all the Gospel of Jesus Christ and God’s plan for all of us. Just to be on the safe side, I will still be working on my sermon for Sunday.

This is the day that the Lord has made.
