A Brand New Day, What's Not to Love?

Colossians 3:12 ESV 

Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience.

Good morning friends, it is a brand new day and a brand new opportunity to be God's people in ministering to and blessing others. Often as I approach a new day in prayer and feel God's comforting peace fall upon me, I feel God's call to share this love and peace with others.

Often after my morning devotion I will jump onto a social media site and wish others well in the message and fact that God loves them and so do I.

The Apostle Paul in his letter to the Colossians, is communicating the fact that those that call themselves followers of Christ, must be a people of restored relationships, at home, in church and in the community.

Beloved, today is a new day, today is a fresh start, and a new opportunity to lift somebodies spirits and to let them know that no matter what happens God loves them. My prayer for you this day is that you will just contact somebody and let them know that you are thinking of them, and that you love them, and that God loves them even more.

This is the new day that the Lord has made.
