Have I not commanded
you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed,
for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
Many of you have
probably seen many social media post and comments that state “May the Fourth be
With You”. We all know that this is in reference to the Star Wars franchise of
movies, and the new Star Wars movie that will be coming to movie theaters
everywhere this year. As much as this
this may be a play on words in reference to “May the Force be with You”, we
must ask ourselves the question: “What is the true force in our lives and from
whom do we seek the true power, knowledge, and love of the universe?
Brothers and Sisters the one and only Lord, the one
true God of the Universe is always with us and He comes not in force, but
rather in love, grace and relationship. My prayer for us all today is that we
truly seek out the Lord of the Universe and place all of our trust and hope in
He that supplies us with strength, courage, and the ability to forgive others
and love others in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
May The lord Be With You
